Lake Gala National Park

Lake Gala National Park is a national park located in the province of Edirne in the far west of Turkey at the border with Greece, as it extends across an area that includes the Gala and Pamuklu Lakes. The park is distinguished by its great richness in bird species, both endemic and migratory, and their number reaches 163 different species, the most important of which are flamingos, in addition to ducks, geese and swans.
The two lakes are also home to about 16 species of fish, including European eels, pike perch, common carp, and northern pike.
