Thor Hammer Amulet Discovered in Sweden

At a site in southwestern Sweden, archaeologists discovered a 1,000-year-old amulet of Thor's Hammer. The amulet is dating back to the period between the 9th and 11th centuries AD, and it is considered the first of its kind to be found in this region. The archaeological work in the site have also revealed several discoveries such as post holes, firepits, and pieces of metal and pottery that may date to before the end of the late Viking Age.
