Roman fort and Ptolemaic temple discovered in Aswan

An Egyptian excavation mission uncovered the remains of a Roman fort, an early Coptic church and the temple from the Ptolemaic period, during excavations carried out at Shiha fort in in Aswan Governorate in Upper Egypt. Four chambers were discovered in the northern side of the church, and ovens were found at its southern side.
