Traces of a Neolithic settlement, dating from 6000 years ago, have been discovered off the coast of Croatia by a team of researchers led by archaeologist Mate Parica from Zadar University. Parica explained that the site, initially spotted with satellite imagery, was on a small island that was connected to Korčula island by a narrow strip of land when water levels were lower.
