The Egyptian-Austrian archaeological mission, working at the Kom Ombo temple on the east bank of the Nile River in Aswan, discovered an administrative center dating back to the First Intermediate Period. The uncovered center consists of several rooms containing more than 20 well-preserved conical silos used for grain in addition to cellars, staircases, and storerooms.
