Nafud al-ʽUrayq Natural Reserve is a nature reserve located in the central region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, southwest of the city of Al-Qassim. The environment of the reserve is characterized by the spread of sandy and gravelly plains, in addition to some rugged granite and basalt mountains.
The vegetation cover of the reserve consists of Lycium barbarum and arta and some annual plants. Animals include hyenas and wolves, and the reserve also represents an ideal habitat for the Houbara bustards.
