King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Natural Reserve
King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Natural Reserve is a nature reserve located in northern Saudi Arabia on the edge of the Nefud Desert. The reserve is characterized by its great geographical and biological diversity.
Among the most important trees of the reserve there are acacia, artichoke, and tamarisk, in addition to many types of shrubs, herbs and unwanted plants. The reserve is also home to a variety of endemic and migratory birds such as the lappet-faced vulture, golden eagle, sandgrouse, rock doves and houbara bustard.
In the reserve there is also a group of Arabian sand gazelle and Mountain gazelle, Arabian wolf, in addition to foxes and wild rabbits.Saudi Arabia
