Wadi Turabah Nature Reserve

Wadi Turabah Nature Reserve is a protected natural area adjacent to Jabal Ibrahim in southwestern Saudi Arabia. The reserve is characterized by its mountainous nature and its rocky slopes rich in vegetation, where Juniper trees are spread in the high areas, Ficus and Ziziphus trees near the valleys, while Acacia forests are found in the lower places.
As for the animals, there is the Hamadryas baboon, in addition to the Arabian wolf, the red fox and the caracal. The reserve is also an important habitat for many species of birds such as the Arabian partridge, the Eurasian griffon vulture, the Egyptian vulture, the Arabian woodpecker, the starling, the Hamerkop bird, the Grey-headed kingfisher, and many other endemic and migratory birds.
