Théniet El Had National Park
Théniet El Had National Park is a national park located in the Tissemsilt Province in northern Algeria. The park is characterized by the presence of many forests with diverse trees, the most important of which are the Atlas cedar (Cedrus atlantica), in addition to Cork oaks (Quercus suber) and Juniperus oxycedrus.
In the park there are many species of mammals such as the hare, wild boar, jackal, and lynx, and also reptiles such as chameleons, snakes, tortoises and frogs, in addition to many birds. The park is a popular and important tourist destination for many Algerians.
