Al-Nasir Muhammad Mosque

Al-Nasir Muhammad Mosque is a historic mosque from the Mamluk period located inside the Cairo Citadel in the historic city of Cairo in Egypt. The mosque was built by the Mamluk Sultan Al-Nasir Muhammad ibn Qalawun (Al-Nasir Muhammad) in the year 1318 AD, and then completely renovated in 1335. The mosque was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 as part of Historic Cairo.
