Al-Hussein Mosque
Al-Hussain Mosque is a mosque located in Cairo, Egypt, near the Khan El-Khalili bazaar. It is named for Imam Hussain ibn Ali and considered to be one of the holiest Islamic sites in Egypt. Built in 1154 AD during the Fatimid rule, the mosque was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 as part of Historic Cairo.
