Sabil-Kuttab of Katkhuda

Sabil-Kuttab of Katkhuda is a historic islamic monument located in Al-Muizz Street, Cairo, Egypt. It was built during the Ottoman era by Emir Abd al-Rahman Katkhuda in 1744 AD to provide fresh water for thirsty people who are passing by. Sabil-Kuttab of Katkhuda was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 as part of Historic Cairo.
