Fort Edward is a historic British fortification located in Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada. Built in 1750 AD, it was constructed to secure British control over the region and protect settlers during conflicts with the French and Mi’kmaq. The fort played a key role during the Acadian Expulsion in 1755 AD. Its blockhouse, the oldest surviving one in Canada, remains a symbol of 18th-century colonial defense.
