Cabot Tower is a historic structure located on Signal Hill overlooking St. John’s Harbour in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It was completed in 1900 AD to commemorate the 400th anniversary of John Cabot’s voyage to North America and Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. Built in a late-Gothic Revival style, the tower became famous as the site where Guglielmo Marconi received the first transatlantic wireless signal in 1901 AD.
