Kneiss Archipelago
Kneiss archipelago is a nature reserve consisting of a group of small islands located in the Mediterranean Sea in the Gulf of Gabès, off the eastern coast of Tunisia. Al-Bassila Island is the largest of the four islands, all of which are characterized by the presence of mudflats, wetlands, and shallow waters, which made it an important destination for many species of birds.
