Chambi National Park
Chambi National Park or Djebel Chambi Biosphere Reserve, is a nature reserve located in Jebel El Chaambi in west central Tunisia, where it is considered the highest mountain in the country and reaches a height of 1544 m. The reserve is home to many plant species, most notably Aleppo pine, oak (oak) and Phoenician juniper.
The reserve also houses a variety of animals such as hyena, fox, and wild boar, plus the area is one of the last remaining refuges for Cuvier's gazelle.
Chambi National Park is included in the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves (WNBR).
