Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park
Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park is a protected area located in central Georgia, southwest of the capital, Tbilisi, within the ecoregion of the Caucasian Mixed Forest Range. The park is distinguished by its own uniqueness in terms of the diversity of geographical and environmental areas, natural landscapes, historical monuments, rich flora and fauna, and is an important tourist destination with a rapidly developing infrastructure.
The northern parts of the park are characterized by cherry laurel and oak trees, while at higher elevations there are grass meadows and flowers. The park is also home to many animals such as brown bears, wolves, lynxes, deer, chamois, as well as roe deer and golden eagles.
