    New Mosque, also known as Valide Sultan Mosque or Yeni Camii, is a historic mosque located in Istanbul, Turkey. It was ordered by Sultana Safiye, who was the wife of Sultan Murad III and later Valide Sultan (Queen Mother) of Sultan Mehmed III. The mosque was built between 1660-1665 AD and inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 as part of Historic Areas of Istanbul.
    The site is one of the elements that make up the UNESCO World Heritage site, Historic Areas of Istanbul.
