    Zeyrek Mosque, previously Monastery of the Pantocrator, is a historic mosque located in Istanbul, Turkey. It was built between 1118-1124 AD by Byzantine Empress Irene of Hungary and was later converted into a mosque during the Ottoman Empire period. Zeyrek Mosque was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 as part of Historic Areas of Istanbul.
    The site is one of the elements that make up the UNESCO World Heritage site, Historic Areas of Istanbul.
