    Fort Mississauga is a historic military fortification located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. Constructed between 1814 AD and 1816 AD during the War of 1812, it was built by the British to defend the Niagara River and replace Fort George, which had been destroyed. The fort features a unique square brick tower surrounded by earthworks and is the only remaining fortification of its kind in Canada.
