Fort Gaspareaux
Fort Gaspareaux is a historic French military fort located near Port Elgin, New Brunswick, Canada. Built in 1751 AD, it was constructed by the French to protect the route between Acadia and Fortress Louisbourg and to serve as a supply depot during colonial conflicts. The fort was abandoned in 1756 AD when French forces consolidated their defenses at Fort Beauséjour.
