Fort Crevier was a French military fort located near Saint-François-du-Lac, in present-day Quebec, Canada. It was established in 1687 AD by Jean Crevier, a seigneur and militia officer, as a fortified post to protect French settlers and Abenaki allies from Iroquois attacks during a time of intense Indigenous and colonial conflict. The fort served both defensive and diplomatic purposes, acting as a strategic link between New France and its Indigenous allies.
