Bois Blanc Island Lighthouse and Blockhouse are historic structures located on Bois Blanc Island near Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada. The lighthouse, built in 1836 AD by the British, guided ships navigating the Detroit River, while the blockhouse, constructed in 1839 AD, served as a defensive structure during the Rebellions of 1837-1838.
