Prince of Wales Fort is a historic Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) fort located near Churchill, Manitoba, Canada. Built by the British between 1731 AD and 1771 AD, it was designed to protect the Hudson Bay fur trade and assert British control in the region. The fort, constructed in a star-shaped layout with massive stone walls and bastions, is one of the most impressive examples of 18th-century military engineering in North America.
