    Aurora Site, also known as the Old Fort or Hill Fort, is a historical site located in Whitchurch-Stouffville, about 30 kilometers north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The site is a sixteenth-century Huron-Wendat ancestral village that was fortified with multiple rows of palisades, indicating its strategic significance. The site was situated along the Rouge River trail, a vital route for the Huron and later the French, connecting Lake Ontario to Lake Simcoe and Georgian Bay.
