Tanfield Valley is an archaeological site located in Cape Tanfield on the southern edge of Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada. The site, which was potentially known to Pre-Columbian Norse explorers, includes possible Norse artifacts and evidence of interaction with the Dorset culture. However, L'Anse aux Meadows in Newfoundland remains North America's only confirmed Norse site outside Greenland.
