Ovayok Territorial Park
Ovayok Territorial Park is a park located in the province of Nunavut in northern Canada. The park is of great cultural importance due to its rich Inuit heritage, including several archaeological sites that provide historical insight into the ancient ways of life of the Inuit people. The park is named after Uvayuq (formerly Mount Pelly), a landmark of great importance in Inuit mythology, highlighting the importance of Uvayuk and its surrounding landscape in their spiritual and daily lives.
