    Kiusta is an ancient village site located on the northern tip of Haida Gwaii in British Columbia, Canada. It is part of the ancestral homeland of the Haida Nation, and the site marks the first known contact between the Haida and Europeans in 1774. The site boasts numerous longhouse remains and carved mortuary and memorial poles, reflecting the rich culture and artistry of the Haida people. Kiusta has been occupied for several millennia, making it one of the oldest archaeological sites of human habitation in British Columbia.
