Petroglyph Provincial Park is a Canadian park located in Nanaimo, British Columbia. It was established to protect old carvings near the Nanaimo River. These carvings, which are dated from the 10th century AD, show sea creatures, people, and animals. They tell stories of the Coast Salish and Snuneymuxw First Nations. Most carvings are near distinct natural landmarks like waterfalls or rock structures.
