Kiang West National Park

Kiang West National Park is a national park located on the south bank of the Gambia River in The Gambia. Plant species in the park include the Guinean savannah and dry deciduous forests.
Among the types of trees in the park are baobab trees, red acacia, Ceiba pentandra, Terminalia macroptera, Prosopis africana, and Ficus species. The park is one of the most important areas in Gambia for wildlife, where most of the remaining mammal species are found in it, including the African clawless otter, bushbuck, caracal, common duiker, leopard, marsh mongoose, serval, sitatunga, spotted hyena, warthogs, in addition to many types of reptiles and birds, especially the endangered bateleur eagle.
