Fir and Cedar Reserve is a natural reserve located in the northern part of the Syrian coast mountain range near Slinfah in Lattakia Governorate, western Syria. The reserve is located within the scope of the Mediterranean forests in Syria, where the vegetation cover consists mainly of cedar forests on the eastern slope and fir forests on the western slope, in addition to almond, peach, oak and Montpellier maple trees.
The reserve includes many animal species such as fox, hyena, hare, squirrel, Roe deer, in addition to wild boar, mole, hedgehog and other species. There are also many types of birds in the reserve, such as blackbird, robin , sparrow, owl, crow, Eurasian jay, and the Eurasian griffon vulture, among others.
