Süleymaniye Mosque
Süleymaniye Mosque is a historic mosque located in Istanbul, Turkey. It was built between 1550-1557 AD on the order of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and designed by the imperial architect Mimar Sinan. The mosque was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 as part of Historic Areas of Istanbul.
