Michipicoten Post is an archaeological and historical site located in Ontario, Canada, on the eastern shore of Lake Superior. It was established in the early 18th century, and served as a significant fur trading post operated by both the French and later the Hudson's Bay Company. The site includes remnants of trading buildings, artifacts, and evidence of interactions between European traders and Indigenous peoples.
