Tyre Coast Nature Reserve
Tyre Coast Nature Reserve is a nature reserve located to the southeast of the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon. The reserve is one of the important wetlands in the Mediterranean basin, as it is an important resting and nesting site for migratory birds, and a haven for some mammals such as the Arab spiny mouse and European badger.
The marine area of the reserve beach is also a habitat for endangered loggerhead sea turtle and green sea turtles.
