Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve
Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve is a nature reserve overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, located in the Mount Lebanon Governorate in Lebanon. The Jabal Musa Reserve is a veritable collection of diverse ecosystems characteristic of the Mediterranean region, including forests and evergreen trees.
The mountainous terrain contributes to the emergence of a number of ecoregions, thus enhancing the diversity that harbors many species, and the nature, which is dominated by mountain peaks and slopes, offers wonderful and picturesque views.
Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve is included in the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves (WNBR).
