Shaumari Wildlife Reserve
Shaumari Wildlife Reserve is a nature reserve located near the city of Azraq, east of Amman in Jordan. The reserve consists of a group of desert valleys and Hamada, and it is a haven for some of the most endangered species of animals in the Middle East, where the Arabian oryx, Somali ostriches, Persian onagers (an Asian wild ass) and gazelles, are found in the reserve.
