Dibbeen Forest Reserve
Dibbeen Forest Reserve is a nature reserve located south of the archaeological site of Jerash in northwestern Jordan. The reserve consists of steep hills covered with pine and oak trees and includes the largest concentration of Aleppo pine trees in Jordan.
The reserve is home to at least 17 endangered species, including the Persian red squirrel, four species of bats, the gray wolf and the striped hyena. The reserve is also home to many bird species.
