Qurm Nature Reserve
Qurm Nature Reserve is a wetland nature reserve located on the coast of the Gulf of Oman in the Governorate of Muscat in Oman. The reserve is a coastal area consisting of tidal flat areas in which the fresh waters of the valleys mix with marine salt water and form a natural environment rich in biodiversity.
The vegetation cover in the reserve consists of dense mangrove forests, which extend over a wide area, making it a habitat for many fish, turtles, reptiles and crustaceans, in addition to many types of endemic and migratory birds.
