Khor Salalah Reserve
Khor Salalah Reserve, or Khawrs of the Salalah Coast Reserve, is a wetland reserve located on the coast of the Arabian Sea in Salalah in southern Oman. Khor Salalah Reserve is one of the most beautiful khors in the Governorate of Dhofar, as it is a major stop for many migratory birds due to its abundance of food and a mild climate that made it the ideal natural habitat for flocks of birds throughout the winter period.
The vegetation cover of the reserve consists mainly of mangroves, and its beaches are rich in many species of fish, crustaceans and invertebrates.
