Al Radom National Park
Al Radom National Park or Al Radom Nature Reserve is a reserve located in the far southwest of Sudan in the state of Darfur, bordering the Central African Republic. The reserve is characterized by its diverse ecosystem, which consists mostly of bushes and savannah grasses with a scattering of some forests.
As for the animals, there are deers, monkeys, wild boars, ostriches, turtles, hyenas, lions and tigers, in addition to many endemic and migratory bird species.
Al Radom National Park was submitted in 2021 to the UNESCO Tentative List in Sudan.
The area was also designated in the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves (WNBR) in 1979.Al Radom National Park
