Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan

Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan is a massive mosque and madrassa located in the Old city of Cairo, it was built during the Mamluk Islamic era in Egypt. Its construction began in 1356 AD and completed three years later in 1359 AD. The complex was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 as part of Historic Cairo.
