Lokabulo Rock Shelter is a prehistoric archaeological site located in the Irom Hills of Eastern Equatoria, South Sudan. The shelter was inhabited by hunter-gatherer communities during the Late Stone Age, with evidence of human occupation dating to before 3000 BC. Archaeological excavations uncovered stone tools, animal bones, human skeletal remains, and pottery decorated with comb impressions that appeared around 2000 BC. These discoveries provide valuable insights into prehistoric life and the development of pottery traditions in the region.
