Itohom Rock Shelter is a prehistoric archaeological site located approximately 40 km south of Torit, at the foot of the Imatong Mountains in Eastern Equatoria, South Sudan. Archaeological excavations uncovered more than 20,000 worked stone pieces, including quartz flakes, scrapers, and grinding stones. The discoveries also revealed two distinct pottery traditions, suggesting different phases of human occupation, from the Late Stone Age to more recent periods. Other findings include animal remains and a burial containing the skeletal remains of three adults.
