Ksar of Sfissifa
Ksar of Sfissifa is a historic fortified village located in Naâma Province, southwestern Algeria. It was built in the 14th century AD and constructed from stone and mud using local materials and reflects traditional Saharan architecture adapted to a defensive landscape. The ksar has a distinctive triangular layout with multiple gates, ancient dwellings, tombs, and a central square with an old mosque.
The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, Ksour of the Algerian Saharan Atlas.Elevation: 1241 m
