    Ksar Ain Madhi is an ancient fortified settlement located in Laghouat Province, Algeria, about 75 km southwest of the city of Laghouat. It is regarded as one of the desert ksour that bear witness to human ingenuity and creativity in adapting to harsh environmental conditions. The ksar is distinguished by the Zaouïa Tidjania complex, an important religious and cultural monument characterized by its unique architectural style and its association with Sidi Ahmed Tidjani, a globally influential spiritual figure, reflecting the site’s enduring historical and spiritual significance.
    The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, Ksour of the Algerian Saharan Atlas.
