The fort features a star-shaped design, thick stone walls, and extensive earthworks, showcasing 19th-century military engineering. Fort Henry is now a National Historic Site and museum, serving as a prominent landmark and reflecting Kingston's strategic importance in Canadian military history. Fort Henry was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007 as part of Rideau Canal.
