Bahr Salamat Faunal Reserve
Bahr Salamat Faunal Reserve is a protected area located in southern Chad. The reserve is named after the Bahr Salamat River, a seasonal and intermittent river that flows through it, and is a tributary of the Chari River.
The reserve plays an important role for wildlife, as it provides a haven for many species of migratory birds, and includes many mammals such as leopards, hippos, elephants, and many species of antelopes. The Bahr Salamat River is also a breeding ground for many species of fish.
