    Uchisar is a historical town located in Nevşehir Province, Turkey. The city contains a Byzantine castle along with many rock cut churches and graves. Uchisar was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 as part of Göreme National Park and the Rock Sites of Cappadocia.
    The site is one of the elements that make up the UNESCO World Heritage site, Göreme National Park and the Rock Sites of Cappadocia.
