    Timimoun is a town, and capital of Timimoun District, in Adrar Province, Algeria. The area history is dating back to several centuries ago, and the Ksar of Timimoun is one of its most important landmarks.
    The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, The foggaras oasis and ksour of the Grand Erg Occidental.
