    Tabelbala is a historic oasis town located in Béchar Province, southwestern Algeria. The area is of exceptional archaeological importance, known for prehistoric sites dating back to the Lower Paleolithic period and for the distinctive Tabelbala–Tachenghit lithic tradition, reflecting very early human occupation and adaptation to the Saharan environment.
    The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, The Saoura Cultural Park.
